Each game will last no more than 12 rounds.
This is a single elimination event.
The outer bullseye will be set to 25 points.
How the game is played:
- The goal of the game is to reach an exact score of 301 within 12 rounds. If any player on a board reaches the exact score of another player in a three-dart round, the player who had the original score will be knocked back to zero and will have to start again to reach 301 in the rounds remaining in the game.
- Each board will have the same number of players each game, between four and six. In the case of a lesser number of players on a board, a dummy score of 100 will be used on the board with less players than the others.
- Players on each board will be randomly drawn prior to the first game of the event and before each game as players advance.
- Because the statistics key is not allowed in the tournament, the player at the throw line is allowed to ask the spotter for the scores of the players above them.
- If time does not allow for all 5 games to be played, only the player with the highest score from each board will advance after Game 3 to play the final game for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place for the event. Game 4 will be eliminated.
- Players will advance each game as follows:
A. Game 1: The top 3 players with the highest scores from each board will advance and will equal 24 players. (6 players per board.
B. Game 2: The top 4 players with the highest scores from each board will advance and will equal 16 players. THE boards will beset to four players on each board.
C. Game 3: The top 2 players with the highest scores from each board will advance and will equal 8 players. Two boards will be used to divide up the players.
D. Game 4: The top 2 players with the highest scores from each board will advance and will equal 4 players.
E. Game 5: The final game will have the 4 players remaining who will play for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place for the event.
